Oak Bridge School was founded in 2005. Today, we are a private, accredited day school serving children ages 6 weeks through 6th grade in Florissant, Missouri.

We believe that given the right opportunities and support, students can achieve academic success. That's why we provide tutoring and lesson plans customized to meet student needs. We're excited when a student "gets it" and have been pleased to see students improve their test scores.
Our teachers participate in professional development courses in science, math, literacy, and technology so they are up to date on the latest teaching methodologies.
We also believe in giving parents support. We offer classes and connect families with counseling services when student's test scores have fallen.
We've partnered with local businesses and organizations to bring unique educational opportunities and mentorships to our students. This partnership between students, parents, teachers, and the community creates an environment where children can excel and flourish.
We envision a school where every child is known, every voice is heard, and every family feels at home — a community where learning is joyful, rigorous, and deeply human.

A Message From Our Founder
Welcome to Oak Bridge School.
At Oak Bridge, we believe every child has unlimited potential. Our mission is to empower students to succeed by providing a learning environment where they are challenged, supported, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.
We understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Parents want more than strong academics — they want a place where their child feels seen, valued, encouraged, and prepared for the future. That is exactly what we strive to provide every day.
Our approach combines high expectations, personalized instruction, and meaningful relationships. We recognize that every child learns differently, and we are committed to meeting students where they are while helping them grow academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. We want our students to develop confidence, curiosity, creativity, self-awareness, and the ability to work well with others.
At Oak Bridge School, education is a partnership. We believe the strongest outcomes occur when schools, families, and communities work together to support children. We are honored to partner with parents in helping students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and build a foundation for lifelong success.
As we continue to grow, our vision extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to creating opportunities that enrich learning, strengthen character, and inspire students to dream big. Every decision we make is guided by our belief that children deserve an education that prepares them not only for the next grade level, but for life.
Thank you for considering Oak Bridge School. We invite you to learn more about our programs, visit our campus, and experience the Oak Bridge difference for yourself. We look forward to welcoming your family into our school community.

Gay Thompson
